"A manager from a local adoption agency, Boys and Girls Aid Society, is looking to recruit a family for a baby with Spina Bifida, due to be born in mid-November. The neural tube opening is in the thoracic area of the spine, so paralysis is likely. Impairment of cognitive functioning is unknown at this time but is possible. This family should expect to work directly with Boys and Girls Aid directly.
